Serpentine Orchestra Hot Jazz · Roaring Twenties
01Biography

Hot jazz from the Roaring Twenties.

Vintage costumes, finely crafted arrangements, and an unabashed Roaring Twenties aesthetic.

The Serpentine Orchestra is a ten-piece big band led by trumpeter Joé Santoni. The group brings the hot jazz of the Roaring Twenties roaring back to life: a full horn section, riotous swing, and the elegance of a bygone era.

Founded in Paris and driven by the new generation of French jazz, the orchestra revisits the rich repertoire of the 1920s and 1930s, from timeless standards to forgotten gems — a living songbook, tailored to fit every evening.

Resident band at Le Serpent à Plume (Place des Vosges), with appearances at Bal Blomet — Europe's oldest jazz club — and Nonsense, the orchestra adapts to concerts, dance nights, cocktail receptions, and dinner shows. Smaller line-ups available on request.
