Maurice Suissa

Since 1985, Maurice Suissa guided, produced and revealed artists on the world's biggest stages, across Europe and far beyond. A respected agent, producer and manager, he was behind more than 3,000 live concerts, crafting unique, unifying musical experiences.

Over the decades he worked with legends of the international scene — at the Olympia and elsewhere — including Alvin Lee, Toto, Wishbone Ash, America, Bill Wyman, James Brown, The Blues Brothers, Johnny Winter, Tony Joe White, Murray Head, Dr. Feelgood, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jamiroquai, Robert Plant, Louis Bertignac, Charles Pasi, Johnny Gallagher and David Hallyday.

A visionary event-maker, he founded the Festival Les Mascarets in 1995 and, from 2004, shaped the artistic programming of the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix. Among his landmark projects: a one-off Roger Waters – The Dark Side of the Moon concert for 27,000 people at Magny-Cours.

He shaped the identity of major festivals across France and Europe (Jazz à Vienne, Juan-les-Pins, Les Nuits de la Guitare in Patrimonio, the Francofolies and many more), produced albums for Louis Bertignac, Charles Pasi, David Hallyday and Johnny Gallagher, and programmed events as far as the Vancouver 2010 and London 2012 Olympic Games.

Through every project, Maurice Suissa championed a demanding, passionate vision of live music: creating rare moments where emotion and excellence meet. Koala Music carries on that legacy today.
