A British artist of many talents — singer, songwriter and actor — Murray Head has carved out a singular international career spanning more than five decades. Born in London in 1946, he emerged in the early 1970s as a defining figure on the world's music scene.

First brought to wide attention by his role in Jesus Christ Superstar in 1970, then by the musical Chess, he conquered audiences across the globe in 1985 with "One Night in Bangkok" — a number one in twelve countries. Six gold and platinum records later, and after hundreds of shows in France and around the world, he celebrates his 80th birthday at the Olympia in 2026.

A devoted following, a voice still in its prime, songwriting as alive as ever: Murray Head is a legend who is anything but a thing of the past.
