01Biography

One album, one odyssey.

A concept album where every song tells its own story.

Francesco & The Black Swans came to life in 2019 with the music video for “Set The Children Free.” Built around Francesco Buono, the band brings together seasoned musicians: Harry Waters (Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Cave), Indria Saray (Alcest) and Eric Lebailly (Adagio, Stuart Hamm, Cyril Achard). Their signature: a psychedelic, progressive rock sound.

“Set The Children Free” now spins on radio stations across many countries, from the United States to Japan, from South America to Great Britain, and the band's videos have already passed 300,000 views. In 2021, Pink Floyd's worldwide fan club commissioned them to write a song for David Gilmour's birthday.

Their album “La Vie en Rose” unfolds as a true concept: each song carries its own story, paired with a video, and the whole follows a timeline whose ending is left to the listener. On stage, an omniscient narrator guides a show heightened by lights and visuals — music crafted, too, to live inside films and series.
